On Friday, 22nd September, the Times journalist,\u00a0 feature-writer and sometimes TV critic Carol Midgley will be joining us for dinner and instead of giving a formal talk afterwards she will be ‘in conversation’ with the President, Sir David Maddison.<\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

She is a witty, forthright writer. One of her recent Times features had as its headlines ‘I love the heat, so stop moaning and let me perspire’, ‘Curse of the killer handbag’ and ‘Treat your car like Mariah’. The evening should be great fun.<\/p>\n

This is a full vegetarian menu, at Sir David\u2019s request (guest speaker is vegetarian)<\/p>\n
