Trip to Tanners

After a very successful visit from our wine supplier Tanners, we’re pleased to announce that we have organised a day trip to the Tanners wine cellars in Shrewsbury. In collaboration with this still family-run wine merchants, we’ll be taking a handful of members down to the Tanners premises to witness first hand the work that goes into crafting the wonderful wines that we enjoy on a daily basis.

Tanners personnel will be on hand to guide and advise, and they’ve even offered to put on a rudimentary lunch for our members.

Travel will be arranged by the Athenaeum.
